Learning Plan F

1) We have covered a lot of ground now so it is time for reflection

When I was doing the ESP on myself it made me thought about myself and how I deal with my own emotions and also how I like others to response when I do have an episode. While I was thinging of the thought I thought of events that happen in the past and how I react to it when it was really no big deal and that I am a very mean person or I get upset easily.

Reflect on all the techniques, do they make sense,

The techniques made sense. It focused on emotional support and using the chart help a person know to avoid a situation or find a way to help that person. All the things what we learned from learning plan A-F helps me understand how to interact with people and what I can use to help that person with their issue or situation. This learnig plan I thought was amazing because it's not so much on others but on myself. It made me thought about myself and focus on me than I usually do.

How do you see this operating in the "real world"

In the real world I see this operating with adolescents/teens and adults who are going through hard times. People who may use these techniques are people in the human service field, social workers, psychologist, and therapist. Teachers probably may use this to figure out the students. I know at times I use the techniques that I learned at work.

How do you see all this impacting your future work

I see all this impacting my future work by helping people get back on their feet and learning to help themselves in their situation. Also, it helps me learn many ways of working and dealing with my two years old. I always had this saying that I'm going to make a difference in someone's life and maybe one day with using the techniques I learned I will get to make a difference in someones life.

What surprises you

What surprise me was that when doing this assignment I thought it would be on others and how to deal with others emotional, but it wasn't like what I thought it was. It made me focus on myself and most likely people in the helping field don't think about themselves and this made me thought of myself.

What have you learned.

I learned that recovery is the most important part of support. When I was doing the ESP and how I would want others to respond I tend to look toward recovery in ways they can help understand what I'm going through so they can stop me or make me happy. Most I just needed someone to talk to when there are events happen.

Learning Plan E

Learning Plan A:
In this learning plan I learned about classical and operant conditioing. This learning plan covered the importance of permanent changes in behavior that occurs through experience. Also how stimulus is added to posituve reinforcement. I learn the terminology of classical conditioning which confused me but after seeing the example I understand clearly what each one are. Operant conditioning involves more of rewards. When it came to negative reinforcement I thought of it was bad because of the word "negative". But as I go over the learning plan it was a aversive stimulus being removed.

Learning Plan B:
This learning plan is about positive reinforcement. Positive reinforcement seems to be a every day tool we all use and sometimes we all use it without even thinking about it. Most positive reinforcers are classified under five overlapping heading, which are consumable, activity, mnipulative, possessional and social. It's a way of motiving a behavior to be effective. I like learning about this because I use it all the time.

Learning Plan C:
Negative Reinforcement is a form of reinforcement that increase the frequency or probability of a behavior. When I saw the word negative I thought of negative reinforcement as a bad feedback or using punishment. Later I learn that it was what I thought it was. It just simply means removing something. Along with this learning plan I learned about differential reinforcement and the types of differential reinforcements. Also in this learning plan I learn about punishment. It was really interesting learning how each reinforcement works. Also with these reinforcement I can add or remove a behavior that I don't want to strengthen the behavior that I want.

Learning Plan D:
The ABC method was probably my favorite. I learn so much about it and it's so easy to use. Forexample, I work in a shelter home, the clients that I have usually have some issues or problem along with goals and plans for the future. The ABC helps me figure what they need to be successful or answer the question why they are at a shelter home. Also, during my shift client would ask come to me to let me know why they didn't do something or were at meetings. I simply use the ABC method and the answer is there.

Learning Plan E:
I thought that this learning plan was amazing. I like learning about other ways to help teach someone a new technique or behavior. Also, when it come to task analysis I never thought about some of the every day things I do. Such as brusing my teeth or combing my hair. It's like a recipe for a cook book. When I took the analysis quiz, I notice I missed a few steps and when I looked back at it I was amazing at how something so simply that I can do everything was so hard for something else and that I never thought that there were so many steps.

Question: Which method or approach is best use to help a client be successful in finding a job?
